Aging with Dignity

Welcome to Team AWD!

I launched the Aging With Dignity (AWD) podcast as a community service initiative following the end-of-life journey with both of my parents last year. My Mother had a very rare form of Dementia - CBD. My Father, as her primary caregiver, passed away after a cardiac event. Building greater awareness and support for the great work performed by the Montreal Alzheimer's Society is why I am joining the walk this year again. Dad's end-of-life journey shines a light on caregivers' challenges. Mom passed away on August 14, 2024 and so I carry the memory of her with me on this walk.

This MARCH for Alzheimer's is dear to my heart and I thank you for supporting us in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and their families.
