I love you, Je t'aime
Description
7 years ago, I joined this walk as a form of therapy to help me to deal with and better understand my mom’s illness diagnosis.
In 7 years, I have grown and understood that this walk means a heck alot more, to myself and those within this community.
In 7 years, I have met many people along the way, new friends who, like myself, had become caregivers for their loved ones.
Thanks to all your love and support I’m very proud to say that in these last 7 years, we’ve raised over $10 000 for Alzheimer’s awareness and programs that help families with loved ones who are battling this cruel disease.
My mom may no longer be here, but her legacy remains. I will continue to raise money for Alzheimer’s and participate in this walk with my husband, my 2 beautiful daughters and my friends for the rest of my life. This disease took my mom’s life but never her spirit and I know my mom would have been so proud. I love you, je t’aime. Thank you.
