The CAUSE

Since 2008, the 300 km for LIFE Bike Challenge has raised nearly $1.7 million for the Laval Regional Cancer Program.

Over the years, financing was secured for a variety of projects and pieces of equipment, thanks to the involvement of our cyclists, partners and donors.

For example:

• A laparoscopic ultrasound probe for kidney cancer cases
• An echo-endoscope to detect colorectal cancer
• The Activie program, which allows patients in remission from cancer to re-immerse themselves in physical activity after treatment, through help from a kinesiologist
• Bedside tables for patient comfort during treatment
