Sun Youth Organization
Sun Youth was founded in 1954 for kids by kids.
A youth sports and recreation organization with an emphasis on prevention: stay out of trouble, stay safe, stay active.
- 30,000 people per year participate in a Sun Youth program
- 75,000 food baskets annually distributed
We fight food insecurity, homelessness and social exclusion with food programs, medication, clothing, school supplies and financial assistance.
We support the mental and physical well-being of children and teens through our sports programs—including the well-known bike giveaway—which help encourage them to stay active and stay in school.
Sun Youth is an essential Montreal community organization providing emergency services as well as supporting the development of healthy kids.
