Riding in a peloton" training
The 300 km for LIFE Bike Challenge involves riding in a double platoon. For all new participants, a practical training on this technique is MANDATORY to participate in the challenge. Everyone's safety is at stake!
All new participants in the 300 km for LIFE MUST attend one of the 2 training sessions on the PMG circuit in Blainville. ALL our participants are welcome (not just the new ones)!
June 1st, 6:30pm to 9pm, Circuit PMG (100 Rue du Landais, Blainville, QC J7C 5C9)
June 29th, 6:30 pm to 9 pm, Circuit PMG (100 Rue du Landais, Blainville, QC J7C 5C9)
PREPARATORY OUTINGS
In order to train, meet other participants and make sure you are ready for the great adventure of the 300 km, our two head coaches will offer you several preparatory outings. The routes and details will be given to you very soon, but the dates are fixed:
June 3 : 65 km
July 8 : 85 km
August 12th : 110 Km
August 26th : 150 Km
(Details of routes and schedules will also be posted on the Facebook group)
Required equipment
Everyone must have their bike in good riding condition (!) with what is needed to change a flat tire and the necessary equipment to ride (helmet, water bottle, etc.)
In case of bad weather
We will inform you via the Facebook group.
